Limitations
We would rather tell you here than have you find out mid-call.
DialOnCall cannot connect to emergency services such as 911, 999, 112 or their equivalents anywhere in the world. Emergency dispatchers rely on location data and network guarantees that a browser call cannot provide. Always keep a traditional mobile or landline available for emergencies.
Most banks, payment apps and online services send one-time codes by SMS or by automated call to numbers registered as mobile lines. A rented DialOnCall number is unlikely to receive these. Use your own mobile number for account security codes.
DialOnCall is a voice service. It does not send or receive SMS.
You can receive callbacks only on a rented number, and only while you are signed in with the tab open. A verified number used as caller ID rings your original phone, not the browser.
Premium-rate, shared-cost and some satellite destinations are blocked or priced separately. If a number cannot be dialled, the dialler tells you before the call.
Audio travels over your internet connection before it reaches the phone network. Weak Wi-Fi or congested mobile data will be audible on the call.
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari are supported. Very old browsers, some in-app browsers and devices without microphone access will not work.
