Privacy policy

What we collect, and why.

Last updated 1 September 2026

This policy explains how DialOnCall ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use dialoncall.com and the DialOnCall calling service. DialOnCall is based in Singapore and handles personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and, where it applies, the EU and UK GDPR.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google or an email link we receive your name, email address and, for Google sign-in, your basic profile picture. We do not receive your Google password or access to your contacts, mail or files.

Call records

To bill calls and resolve problems we keep the number dialled, the caller number used, the start time, the connected duration and the rate applied. We do not record the audio content of calls.

Numbers you verify or rent

If you verify your own number we store that number and the fact it was verified. If you rent a number we store the number and its rental period.

Payment information

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We receive a confirmation of the amount paid and the last four digits of the card; full card numbers never reach our servers.

Technical information

Browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP, and diagnostic data about call quality (packet loss, latency). This helps us route calls and fix faults.

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

Carrier and SIP partners receive the dialled number and caller number so the call can be completed — this is inherent in placing a phone call. Our payment provider processes your payment. Hosting and email providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is open. Call records are kept for as long as required for billing disputes and legal obligations, then deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short period for diagnostics.

5. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to privacy@dialoncall.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Children

DialOnCall is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced by email to account holders.
